SHINING 3D presents the new handheld 3D scanner – EINSTAR

SHINING 3D – a leading Chinese manufacturer of 3D scanners, has introduced a new handheld 3D scanner – EINSTAR. Equipped with three IR VCSEL projectors, two stereo depth cameras and one RGB color camera, the new 3D scanner can easily capture stable and clear details at a fast pace and display high-quality data with color texture. According to the manufacturer, EINSTAR is the perfect tool to start working with 3D scanning or simple and efficient 3D modeling.

Thanks to numerous data output formats, EINSTAR should prove itself in many different projects and industries – 3D printing, parametric design or VR&AR. The 3D scanner quickly and easily captures very precise point cloud data with point spacing up to 0.1 mm. Thanks to the built-in RGB color camera, the color reproduction of the 3D data is very faithful to the original.

Built-in enhancement technology optimizes the point cloud for complete data collection, helps with 3D scanning and improves data quality. With three IR VCSEL projectors, two stereo depth cameras and one RGB camera, EINSTAR can also deliver clear and stable results for outdoor 3D scanning. This technology can also be used to 3D scan large and small objects from different distances.

The projector’s invisible light makes the scanning process easy on the eyes. The device offers smooth and fast scanning with useful functions and high scanning speed. In addition, the scanner is ergonomically shaped, provides a clear workflow and should be easy to set up (plug & play).

The current, promotional price of the 3D scanner is USD / EUR 799 for new SHINING 3D customers and USD / EUR 759 for customers already using the manufacturer’s devices. The target price is 959 USD / EUR.
