Ranking of CAD systems in the world according to Reddit

If I prepared a ranking of the most popular applications which are used everyday at work, I would choose text editors, spreadsheets, programmes to create presentations and  graphics. I would also add specialistic applications to manage with videos, create animations or music. In the world of constructors and architects CAD software is necessary. There is plenty of them on the market. A popular internet website Reddit decided to create its own ranking of the most popular CAD software, basing on preferences and opinions of the users.

Reddit to  is a popular international aggregator of links. According to Wikipedia, there are about 174 mln users on Reddit, Alexa informs classifies it on the position number 29 between all of the internet platforms in the world.  A variety of topics and interests of the users are enormous. A community, which is interested in CAD software, is really engaged in discussions. You can find a lot of  tutorials and current information about using of applications.

Of course, this ranking should be treated with pinch of salt and 3DHubs rankings too. It bases on popularity of the software only belong the Reddit’s users, not on all of the users in the world. Nonetheless, it presents an interesting point of view about the CAD software, which probably correspond to reality. I am a little bit surprised with the fact, that ZWCAD wasn’t mentioned on the list. On the other hand, the top of the ranking seems to be real.
