Photocentric, a British manufacturer of photopolymer 3D printers, has announced the premiere of its latest large-format device, which it intends to present live to the public for the first time at the upcoming Formnext 2022 fair in Frankfurt am Main. The Titan 3D printer has a working area of 700 x 395 x 1200 mm, a 32-inch 8K LCD screen and a pixel resolution of 91 µm.

The Photocentric Titan is the largest 3D printer in the company’s offer, allowing for high-performance serial production with the use of light-curing resins. It will find application in the medical, automotive, transport, art and merchandising industries.

In addition to 3D printers, Photocentric will be exhibiting at Formnext together with its software partner – Core Technologie. The company’s software allows the use of various texturing and finishing options for 3D prints, the effects of which will be presented at the company’s stand.

Photocentric will also present the results of its ongoing work in the field of 3D printing in ceramics and the development of other materials in collaboration with Loctite and BASF Forward AM. In the field of ceramics, Photocentric collaborates with the Center of AM Excellence AM (AM-COE), focusing on mass production of silica cores with better performance compared to injection molding, while providing parts for alumina ceramic production.
