Farsoon will showcase two production platforms FS621M and Flight SS403P-2 at Formnext 2023

Since installing the first Powder Bed Fusion system in Europe in 2015, Chinese industrial 3D printer manufacturer Farsoon has supported industrial customers in many aspects of additive manufacturing, including machine configuration, materials, process development and applications. Working with a growing number of customers in Europe, Farsoon has become a leading supplier with mass production solutions using polyamide powder and metal fusion technologies.

In addition to its extensive offering of L-PBF systems for metal and plastic 3D printing, Farsoon has focused on maximizing productivity by installing multiple lasers on large format platforms, as well as expanding material capabilities for future industrial applications. At the Formnext fair, which will start on November 7, 2023 in Frankfurt am Main, Farsoon will present, among others: FS621M and Flight 403P dual-laser systems.

FS621M platform

First presented in July 2020, the FS621M 3D printer with a working area of 620 x 620 x 1100 mm was well received by customers in the aerospace and manufacturing industries. As of today, the installation base of the FS621M family has reached over 60 installations by October 2023, and the machines have worked a total of 510,000 hours. The FS621M platform is a series production tool enabling the production of repeatable, high-quality parts.

Flight 403P dual-laser platform

The 403P Series system is a high-temperature plastic powder fusion platform with an installation base of over 260 units worldwide by October 2023. As one of the first machine manufacturers to develop LPBF systems focused on industrial fiber laser production, Farsoon has introduced dual laser head in May 2021. Thanks to this, it was possible to increase production efficiency by 3-4 times compared to the SLS machine with a single CO2 laser. The 3D printer has a working chamber with dimensions of 400 × 400 × 540 mm.

Advanced features, including replaceable cartridges and an external cooling station, can further extend machine runtime and provide higher throughput in the same footprint.
