Zortrax introduces black Tough resin to its offer

Zortrax – a manufacturer of desktop 3D printers of the FDM / FFF and UV LCD type, has introduced a new light-curing resin – Zortrax Resin Tough in black. It is a durable material with low shrinkage that guarantees smooth surfaces of printed details. It is suitable for printing applications that must be composed of many parts as well as end products. 3D prints are impact-resistant and break-resistant.

Tough resin is currently available in three color variants: white, gray and the newly introduced black. The material works with a dedicated, proprietary Zortrax Inkspire 3D printer, as well as with all other light hardening the resin with a wavelength of 395-405 nm. It is offered in 1-liter bottles for PLN 453.87 gross. The resin can be ordered here.

At the same time, with the premiere of the new resin, Zortrax has introduced an update for its proprietary 3D printing software – Z-SUITE. 3D printing profile for Zortrax Resin Tough has been added and the default time settings for additional material exposure time have been changed. Several changes were made to the Zortrax inCloud service and a number of minor bugs in the handling of other 3D printers were fixed.
