Stratasys introduces the new multi-material J3 DentaJet 3D printer

Stratasys has announced the launch of its new entry-level PolyJet 3D printing system, the J3 DentaJet. The 3D printer allows the production of medical and dental applications using several different materials in one production process. It is dedicated to creating orthodontic models, parts for crown and bridge models and surgical templates in one task. The J3 DentaJet will make its debut at the upcoming IDS show in Cologne, Germany from March 14-18, 2023.

The Stratasys J3 DentaJet uses the company’s proprietary PolyJet multi-material technology and is supported by a portfolio of clear, rigid and flexible resins that are also biocompatible. 3D prints are made on a rotating tray with an area of 1174 cm2. Like other dental 3D printing solutions, the device is supported by GrabCAD Print, which allows you to combine up to three different resin grades in one production process.

The J3 DentaJet 3D printer contains biocompatible resins (clear, rigid and flexible) and can create mixed parts for crown and bridge models, implantology (models, surgical templates and gum masks) and orthodontic models. High-Speed Mode can help labs scale and increase efficiency.

“This printer is of great value to smaller dental labs that were previously limited to small single-material 3D printers and are ready to upgrade their dental production to offer higher quality digital dental products,” said Ronen Lebi, vice president of dentistry at Stratasys. “The addition of the J3 DentaJet 3D printer can help labs create best-in-class dental applications that require extreme accuracy at scale as demand grows.”
