Farsoon and Siemens deepen strategic partnership for industrial 3D printing

Farsoon Technologies has announced that it is expanding its strategic partnership with Siemens Ltd. The collaboration began in 2019 when the companies signed an agreement to create a framework for industrial 3D printing solutions. In May 2023, representatives of the companies met to strengthen cooperation.

Siemens and Farsoon’s R&D team will continue to integrate Siemens NX software on Farsoon’s open metal and polymer 3D printing platforms to offer end-to-end machine and software solutions targeted at production-scale projects. Both parties intend to increase the use of Siemens solutions in the field of automation and drives in Farsoon 3D printers, with priority consideration of Siemens solutions in the selection for future development and production of Farsoon machines.

Siemens will offer users of Farsoon 3D printers high-performance and simplified factory automation solutions from design to production thanks to its expertise in digital industry. Farsoon users can take advantage of Siemens financial services, which offer creative purchasing solutions to suit your budget, allowing easy access to the latest technology for future success.

“As an industry leader in automation solutions and software/hardware manufacturing, Siemens is a key partner for Farsoon Technologies as it works to drive large-scale adoption of additive technology,” said Dr. Xu Xiaoshu, Founder and CEO of Farsoon. “As a long-time Siemens partner, we are excited to increase the scope and pace of our collaboration on future products and solutions, and I look forward to the close collaboration between our two companies.”

Dr. Karsten Heuser, Siemens Vice President, Additive Manufacturing, added: “Farsoon and Siemens have a long history of working together. Our colleagues in USA and China have many positive comments about Farsoon machines. In the future, we will see more advanced collaboration between the two companies and more Siemens integrations on Farsoon machines.”
