BLT opens a new research and development center in Shanghai

Bright Laser Technologies (BLT), a Chinese manufacturer of metal 3D printers, has announced the opening of a new research and development (R&D) center in Shanghai. Run by a subsidiary of BLT, the new facility will serve as China’s state-of-the-art R&D center and will house a team of highly qualified and experienced industrial 3D printing specialists.

BLT was founded in July 2011 and provides complete technical solutions for metal 3D printing, including custom products, hardware, raw materials, software and technical services. By the end of 2022, BLT has delivered thousands of metal 3D printing systems that have been sold to more than twenty countries around the world.

BLT offers three lines of metal 3D printers: the S series (for aerospace, industrial and medical applications), the A series (for dental applications and mold making) and the C series (for aerospace applications). During the ceremonial opening of the center, the company presented the latest iteration of the A-series 3D printer – BLT-A400, which further increases the possibilities in the field of additive manufacturing. This high-performance 3D printer has optimized corrective splicing techniques and an improved powder circulation system, meeting the needs of customers who want high-quality 3D printing results at low cost.
