Zortrax announces its financial results for Q1!

Zortrax’s profits increased in the first quarter of 2016 by 120%. The leader of Polish 3D printing industry achieved 13.84 mln PLN profit in comparison to 6,9 mln PLN from the same period in 2015. The company reached  4,21 mln PLN profit in comparison to 1,9 mln PLN form the last year.  An increasing share of profits from selling of materials for 3D print has bigger and bigger influence on Zortrax’s financial results. A crucial point was additionally a sale of 3D printers M200, which increased by 80% in relation year to year and by about 20% in relation quarter to quarter.

Zortrax worked out dynamic increase of financial rates in the Q1 2016. The profits of the company in this period amounted about 14 mln PLN and the net profit 4,2 mln PLN. In the last year Zortrax reached 37,6 mln PLN and net profit of 8 mln PLN. About 90% of income comes from foreign markets.

In the Q1 the sale of 3D printers M200 amounted almost 80% in relation year to year and about 20% in relation quarter to quarter. Every sold 3D printers means definite demand on materials for 3D printing in the future. The recent financial results of the company reflect this tendency. Between January and March 2016 Zortrax sold three times more materials, that in last year. In comparison to the Q4 2015, the increase amounted over 11%.

The first quarter is the next time when we noted a dynamic increase of sales of 3D printer Zortrax M200, what shows, that our flagship device still evokes interest. In case of materials for 3D print, a volume of sales in the Q1 reached a level similar to one half of sales from the whole last year.
