XJet, a manufacturer of liquid metal and ceramic specialty 3D printers, announced today that it will strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. The company acquired a strategic distributor in China – Pentatech and started talks with other distributors throughout the region.

As part of a distribution agreement with Pentatech, the first two XJet additive manufacturing systems were installed in China – they are now running at the Pentatech Demonstration Plant in Hangzhou. More systems will be installed in other locations by the end of this year.

Pentatech is a new company founded by Jun Tang and Dunhe Foundation to sell XJet printers in China. The company plans to build five additive manufacturing centers in major cities across the country, each of which will feature XJet Carmel 1400 additive manufacturing systems.
