Prodways is expanding its audiology business by acquiring Auditech Innovations

Prodways, a French industrial 3D printer manufacturer and company, announced the acquisition of Auditech Innovations – a company specializing in the production of custom hearing protection devices, especially for people working in noisy environments that pose a health risk. Thanks to this acquisition, Prodways Group significantly increases the size of its audiology department, and the complementarity of both companies will enable Auditech Innovations teams to benefit from Prodways expertise in the field of professional 3D printing.

Auditech Innovations was founded in 2003 and offers hearing protection solutions for employees exposed to high noise levels. Like Prodways, the company is based in France with 50 employees. Auditech Innovations offers personalized hearing protection using proprietary patents. Today, the company equips a very diverse group of over 300,000 users exposed to noise across all industries.

Established in 2013, Prodways entered the audiology market with the acquisition in 2017 of the French hearing aid and hearing protection company Interson-Protac. Prodways acquired another hearing aid manufacturer in 2019, so the current acquisition is the third such acquisition in this sector.
