Fiberlogy has prepared a new material for enthusiasts of ecological 3D printing. The new product, R-PLA has already been on sale this week and is available from the brand’s distributors.

Recently, the Polish filament manufacturer presented Fiberlogy PP, a 3D printing material based on polypropylene – a popular material that due to its properties, such as durability and flexibility, has been used in many industries. This time, a product made entirely from recycled materials will hit the shelves. Its quality is guaranteed by strict control of the raw material being recycled in order to avoid potential impurities and low quality materials.

The advantage of R PLA filament over other materials is its competitive price. The filament offered on the 0.85 kg spool will be available at the Refill EASY PLA price, which makes it one of the cheapest products signed with the Fiberlogy brand. The manufacturer indicates that the availability of filament for sale depends on objective factors, such as the amount of raw material on the market – due to this, it is not able to guarantee the constant availability of the product.

Technical specification:

  • Print temperature: 210-230°C
  • Table temperature: 50-70°C (table heating is not required when using pads or other adhesion enhancing agents)
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm
  • Diameter tolerance: +/- 0.02 mm
  • Oval tolerance: + 0.01 mm
  • Weight: 0.85 kg
  • Available colors: Anthracite
  • biodegradable.

For Fiberlogy it is a huge step forward when it comes to ecological production – R PLA is the first of a series of products that are made from recovered raw material. Fiberlogy will soon present another ecological products from the R line.
