3D Systems wins a contract for the US Air Force to create a large-format metal 3D printing system

3D Systems announced that it has received a $10.8 million contract from the United States Air Force to develop a large-format metal 3D printer. The contract supports the development of large-scale 3D printing capabilities based on hypersonic technology. Work will be performed in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and San Diego, California, with an estimated project completion date of September 29, 2025.
