Xact Metal celebrates the order of the 100th metal 3D printer

The American manufacturer of 3D metal printers – Xact Metal, announced that it has received its 100th order for the machine, which it claims is a significant milestone in the company’s development. In a press release, the company said its success was attributed to its dedicated sales network, which took on a mission to develop Xact Metal 3D printing technology and provide local sales and service support to customers in more than 50 countries.

Founded in 2017, the Xact Metal team saw the enormous value of 3D printing in metal and wanted to make it available to everyone by lowering the price. The first deliveries of proprietary 3D printers began in 2019 with the XM200C model, which operated on the basis of the XY gantry system intended and was intended mainly for research and development projects and universities.

In November 2021, the company introduced the XM200G family of 3D printers, equipped with one and two lasers, using galvanometer mirrors. This allows Xact Metal machines to achieve faster 3D printing speeds in high-throughput industrial applications.

Recently, the manufacturer launched the Smart Layer software in partnership with Addiguru, a company that provides monitoring technology for additive manufacturing processes, for automatic visual monitoring and real-time analysis. The software enables users to perform layer-by-layer job analysis using computer vision algorithms and convolutional neural networks.

The company has created a global network of sales and service partners, currently having 26 exclusive distributors in 48 countries around the world.
