SLM Solutions – a German manufacturer of industrial 3D printers for metal, published financial results for the third quarter of 2021 and cumulative results for the first nine months of the year. The company recorded a strong increase in orders for its machines, which increased by 67% year-on-year. In total, SLM Solutions acquired orders worth 42.8 million euros compared to 25.6 million euros in the same period in 2020. Revenues amounted to 51.1 million euros, an increase of 5.1 million euros (+ 11.2% ) compared to last year.

Building on a solid order backlog and overall business dynamics, SLM Solutions reaffirmed its outlook for 2021. As announced in February, management expects revenue growth of at least 15% compared to 2020 and an improvement in EBITDA year on year.

The company’s management also provided guidance for 2022. The company expects revenues to be at least EUR 100.0 million and expects EBITDA for fiscal 2022 to improve significantly compared to fiscal 2021, achieving quarterly positive EBITDA for the second mid-2022.
