Austrian Lithoz – a manufacturer of 3D printers printing from ceramic materials, recorded the best in its history the first half of the year in terms of orders received. Until July this year. the company has already achieved two-thirds of its full-year sales target. At the same time, the company expects to achieve its best year in its entire 10-year existence.

The company was founded as a spin-off from TU Wien by Dr. Johannes Benedikt and Dr. Johannes Hom. Since then, it has become a world leader in the field of 3D printers producing ceramic parts, used, among others, in in medicine, prosthetics and industry, as well as has developed innovative ceramic materials for 3D printing tailored to different needs. Lithoz currently has four plants and employs over 125 employees.

The company recently added new technology to its already powerful lithography-based ceramic (LCM) manufacturing process with the launch of the CeraMax Vario V900 Laser Slipcasting 3D Printer, which uses a new technique to build large, thick-walled parts.
