AMAZEMET becomes distributor of GE Additive solutions for Poland

AMAZEMET and GE Additive join forces as part of the cooperation, which resulted in the appointment of AMAZEMET as a distributor in Poland of DMLM and EBM type 3D metal printers produced by the American concern. This cooperation is the next stage of the expansion of AMAZEMET, which has recently opened a new facility dedicated to development work in the field of 3D metal printing. The agreement will bring benefits to both companies, but above all it will contribute to the development of metal 3D printing technology in Poland thanks to AMAZEMET providing the highest quality machines for additive manufacturing from metal powders on the market.

AMAZEMET is a spin-off company of the Warsaw University of Technology. The company focuses on metal 3D printing, especially in the field of new materials, R&D and industrialization. The company offers the following devices: rePowder – an ultrasonic powder atomizer and a prototyping platform for alloys, inFurner – a high-vacuum furnace and safeEtch – a device for automatic removal of supports from metal prints. The company also participates in scientific cooperation with universities and companies around the world.

GE Additive is part of the GE (General Electric) concern – a world leader in the supply of machines, software, consulting and powders for the additive manufacturing of metals. With an integrated portfolio of additive manufacturing experts, advanced machinery and high-quality powders, GE Additive enables customers to create new, innovative products. GE Additive offers Direct Metal Laser Melting, Electron Beam Melting and Binder Jet metal additive technologies, as well as AddWorks™ consulting services, software and metal powders.

“The possibility of adding GE Additive 3D printers to our product offer is an excellent step towards the dissemination of metal 3D printing in Poland,” said Łukasz Żrodowski, CEO of AMAZEMET. GE Additive solutions have been offered by the company since January 2023. This opens up new opportunities for both companies and will greatly benefit customers by providing them with access to the latest technology and expert support.
