Zmorph – one of the biggest European 3D printers manufacturers, has been operating successfully all over the world for many years. Its machines are very popular, especially on the American market, where their unique nature perfectly meets the expectations of countless schools, FabLabs and manufacturing companies. Zmorph VX – a multifunctional 3D printer that additionally enables CNC milling, laser engraving or 3D printing from masses and semi-liquid materials, is now undergoing a major change. Today, Zmorph Fab makes its debut all over the world – a new version of the device optimized for industrial applications. At the same time, the manufacturer announces new products, which will be released at the beginning of next year.
Along with the launch of the new 3D printer, Zmorph undergoes a complex rebranding, which is a next step towards industrial production and the realisation of the new brand image. Zmorph presents new logo, new website and new marketing strategy, which will enable the wroclavian producer to gain a high position among companies from the industrial sector.
Bartosz Lanc Director of Marketing at Zmorph says:
“Rebranding is one of the most important moments since the firm founding. Set up in 2012 as a startup, it evolved into a reliable brand and partner for professionals in over 120 countries. Incroduced changes will enable Zmorph to further expand into the global market, accomplish global growth objectives and to strengthen the professional image. Today, more than ever Zmorph is becoming more competitive and offering more capabilities to our customers and business partners.”
According to the manufacturer, Zmorph Fab is the most advanced and easy to use all-in-one desktop 3D printer on the market. Similarly to its predecessor- Zmorph VX, it features an interchangeable toolhead system that allows for 3D printing, CNC milling, laser engraving and cutting and 3D printing from thick paste and semi-liquid materials at the same time.
Zmorph Fab is response to the clients’ and partners’ feedback and expectations. Having more simple service and tool-changing, it is equipped with HEPA filter, what makes it a perfect addition to the modern classrooms, FabLabs, workshops and design labs. Thanks to new industrial-grade electronics, the performance has been improved and new functionalities have been added. One of the examples can be new Smart Toolheads system, which detects the type of toolhead installed.
As the Product Manager, Eliza Wróbel says:
“Zmorph Fab is made to be easy-to-use and reliable. The latter is crucial for a product that operates three different workflows and it’s meant to work 24/7.“
The all-new single extruder enables faster 3D printing while maintaining the best surface quality of the printed models. It is equipped with motion sensors for filament flow detection, which stops the machine when it runs out of the filament. A new cooling system has also been introduced in order to ensure better air flow and faster 3D printing.
Zmorph Fab owns numerous improvements in CNC workflow. First of them is the new worktable, which ensures easy and stable material mounting and working with very complex material blocks. There are also some new functions in the Voxelizer software, providing more seamless workflow according to the CAM-standard for CNC procedures with STEP operations. From now on, you will be able to easily change tools within one GCode and visualize the work path of the milling machine.
According to the new regulations concerning educational standards and user safety, Zmorph Fab is equipped with HEPA/Carbon filtration system. Thanks to this, work with materials generating semi-toxic fumes and particles, e.g. ABS, or vapors produced during laser engraving is more safe.
With the launch of the new machine, an update in the Voxelizer software was made. It has improved working with the CNC head and includes many new settings for 3D printing. Like the rest of the brand’s products, Voxelizer has also undergone a rebranding to match the company’s new image.
New Zmorph Fab machine will be available in four bundles:

New logo and visual indentification is a part of completely new firm strategy. In 2020 Zmorph acquired another company from Wroclav – 3D Printers, the owner of popular industrial grade 3D printers brand- HBot. Thanks to this fusion, Zmorph has acquired a strong team of engineers that will allow the Polish manufacturer to expand its portfolio with new devices and solutions.
Along with the acquisition of 3D Printers, Zmorph has acquired industrial product manufacturing expertise and valuable know-how that allows it to develop products, which meet the requirements of professional equipment. The R&D team consisting of specialists from ZMorph and HBOT works on a complete ecosystem that will be reliable, ensure repeatability and reproducibility of prints, as well as their usability and functionality. The new offer will include not only devices, but also redesigned software and firmware. The company also announces cooperation with a well-known manufacturer of high-quality filaments in order to provide a high-quality solution. The premiere of the next product is scheduled for the first half of 2021. Along with the product, a global marketing campaign has been planned to support Zmorph’s partners in effectively reaching end customers. The company is convinced that customers will take advantage of the opportunities offered by the new device called Zmorph i500.
As the Zmorph’s CEO Maciej Nawrocki says:
For some time now, the 3D printing market has been evolving towards professional and industrial solutions. Marketing and sales specialists predicted an increase in interest in specialized devices two years earlier, which allowed the company to prepare an adequate strategy. Next year is the Zmorph premiere year. The experience of engineers working with HBot allowed to create a new device inspired by an industrial-class 3D printer, which was the HBOT F300.
Zmorph cooperates with well-known distributors all over the world, including: Profound3D, Matterhackers in the USA, 3D Criar in Brazil, 3D Prima, Hava3D, RS Components, Maxwell, Beets 3D, Maha Chem in Asia, Torstar In Australia. The company raised PLN 5 million (approximately USD 1.3 million) in the financing round in early 2020 and is constantly talking with new investors to increase the brand’s expansion.
