ZeroHS – “the fastest FDM / FFF 3D printer on the market” will soon debut at the fair in Italy

The Italian company Kentstrapper announced the premiere of a new FDM / FFF 3D printer, which it advertises as “the fastest on the market”. ZeroHS will make its debut at MECSPE, which starts tomorrow – March 29, 2023 in Bologna, Italy. The device can print at a maximum speed of 400 mm/sec. and a working area of 32 x 32 x 32 cm. Prices and information on the real availability of the 3D printer for purchase are to be announced at the fair.

Kentstrapper currently has four 3D printers on offer, which vary in terms of workspaces and functionality – Verve, ZeroPro, Mavis and Bold. The latter has a working area of up to 70 x 40 x 40 cm. ZeroHS is an improved version of ZeroPro, which includes, among others: a new filament extrusion system that allows you to control its flow and allows you to work at speeds from 50 mm / s to 400 mm / s. Kentstrapper claims that with the use of new firmware, the CoreXY 3D printer handling system can reduce production time by up to 80%.

The device allows the use of a variety of 3D printing materials, including PLA, PETG, nylon and carbon fiber composites. The ZeroHS printing platform is equipped with various self-calibration systems, such as Total Calibration, which allows the user to automatically calibrate its entire surface. In addition, Adaptive Calibration makes it easy to calibrate only the portion of the platen that will be occupied by the part to be printed, while automatic Z-axis alignment allows the user to align the build plate to the head. On the surface of the table there is a flexible, removable, magnetic plate.

Thanks to the encoder system, ZeroHS can also automatically perform various functions – detect the lack of filament and restore the print, detect possible nozzle clogging, insufficient extrusion of the material, as well as its lack of flow. It also has power loss protection. Using a dedicated web interface, ZeroHS can be managed completely remotely. By connecting the printer to Wi-Fi, the user can manage the print queue from a separate workstation, monitoring the printout using a webcam installed inside the device.
