XJet to Showcase Full Portfolio of Metal and Ceramic 3D Printing Solutions Based on NPJ Technology at Formnext 2022

Israeli XJet has announced that it intends to present its full portfolio of solutions for industrial 3D printing at the Formnext 2022 trade fair in November. The company will show how users of its machines can achieve automated, environmentally friendly and scalable additive production of metal and ceramic parts while maintaining high resolution and accuracy. The Carmel 1400 solution uses the unique NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) powderless technology to create components with native quality and design complexity, solving challenges across multiple industries.

Offering the best part quality, surface area, accuracy and detail on the market, without the need for post-processing, XJet will be exhibiting its Carmel 1400M AM system at booth C01 12.0 at Formnext. Along with it, there will be a SMART station for the automatic removal of soluble support structures.

The use of nanoparticles and significantly less binder in the production process allows the XJet to achieve higher material densities and lower sintering temperatures of around 15% for stainless steel, saving energy. In addition, the use of airtight material inserts makes Carmel 1400M easy to handle and safe to use. At Formnext, XJet will also present further achievements in the field of materials, which currently consist of 316L stainless steel and, in the field of ceramics, zirconium oxide and alumina.
