Stratasys has announced the launch of its new GrabCAD Print Pro software with integrated quality control functionality from Riven, a recently acquired IT company. GrabCAD Print software manages the 3D print preparation process for Stratasys 3D printers. The new Pro version is designed for companies that need to produce end parts efficiently and adapt to high-volume production. It was created to improve the accuracy of printed parts, reduce waste and shorten the time needed to produce them. The software will be available from May 16, 2023 to customers using Stratasys printers based on SAF and FDM technologies.
GrabCAD Print Pro includes all the features of the standard GrabCAD Print, but its advanced capabilities open up more opportunities for high-volume additive manufacturing with better system controls, reduced production time, and improved workflows.
Users can achieve these benefits with unique features such as:
For the first time, GrabCAD Print Pro also offers plug-ins from third-party partners. Initial plug-in partners include AlphaSTAR and Castor. AlphaSTAR provides analysis and quality assessment of toolpaths and 3D printing parameters, as well as simulation of thermal processes, which helps to streamline design cycles and produce higher quality parts with fewer iterations. Castor software automatically analyzes thousands of parts at once to identify the best 3D printing opportunities.
