On March 14, 2021 at CIC Warsaw, located at VARSO PLACE at ul. Chmielna in Warsaw, representatives of the Polish 3D printing industry met to sign a joint statement on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Representatives of 13 companies submitted their signatures in person, and 5 others signed them electronically. The statement condemned the actions of the Russian Federation towards the Ukrainian nation and declared the suspension of any economic activity in the markets of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
On February 24, 2022, Russian troops attacked Ukraine, starting the largest military conflict in Europe in 30 years. Today we know that this decision was completely ill-considered – Russia is unprepared to conduct effective hostilities, suffering heavy losses in people and equipment. At the same time, the heroic attitude of Ukraine, both by its army and ordinary citizens, showed the whole world how great is the determination of the Ukrainian people to defend its freedom and independence.
Unfortunately, this mindless attack by Russia on the Ukrainian people carries with it many victims – mainly among the civilian population. Material losses are irreparable, but pale in the face of the drama and terror that befell ordinary people – including children who die under the rubble of destroyed cities. The Russians are also indirect victims of this conflict – ranging from soldiers sent under the pretext of military exercises for a war they did not expect, to ordinary citizens who are subjected to severe economic sanctions, which are the response of Western countries to the aggression caused by the Russian authorities, composed of a small group of incompetent and corrupt people.
Representatives of the Polish 3D Printing Industry express their opposition and disagreement with the unprovoked invasion of the Free and Independent Ukraine by the Russian army. They express solidarity with the Ukrainian Nation and deeply sympathize with the families of the killed soldiers and murdered citizens. At the same time, they offer full help and support to all those who have been forced to flee their homeland and seek refuge in our country. At this difficult and dramatic moment, representatives of the Polish 3D printing industry unanimously declare that each of them and their associates are ready to help and support the citizens of Ukraine.
Until Russia ceases its aggression against Ukraine, none of the signatories of this document will conduct any business, trade and service activities against any Russian and Belarusian entity supporting this brutal and merciless attack.
