Raptrax becomes an exclusive distributor of Liquid Crystal 3D printers in Poland

A British company Photocentric made a fuss when it presented Liquid Crystal – a device printing from light-hardened resins available for only 799$. Although it was criticised because of the quality of prints, but after a quick research enthusiasts of 3D printing changed their mind.  Photocentric is a large company which works on photopolymers, flexographic printing and 3D printing is just the next section, where the company can use their solutions. From now, it is available in Poland, and its exclusive distributor became Raptrax.

Liquid Crystal prints in DPP (Daylight Polymer Printing) technology, which consists on treating special resins with light produced with LCD screens in high resolution. Similarly to SLA or DLP, the smallest layer is 25μ. Printing area of the 3D printer is quite big like for this technology and is 20 x 10 x 20 cm.

Raptrax is a new company on the market, specialised in distribution of 3D printers and filaments. It offers currently  Liquid Crystal i 3DGence One. Liquid Crystal costs 799$. I am encouraging you to read Karol’s interview with Sally Tipping – Sales Director at Photocentric.
