Lithoz announced a +30% increase in sales of its ceramic 3D printers throughout 2023, as well as a doubling of the production of consumables for them. The company says the growth was largely driven by the use of its machines in mass production, with the majority of 3D printers sold being installed by existing customers.
Due to the increasing use of ceramic 3D printers by existing customers, Lithoz also focused on refining its product portfolio on the principle of “everything from one source”. This approach has been “successful on all sides,” the company says, thanks to investments in laser casting technology, LSD printing and multi-material manufacturing via AMAREA technology.
“By creating these connected machinery, Lithoz is driving the development of series production of ceramic 3D printing,” commented Dr. Johannes Homa, CEO of Lithoz. “We consistently work with our customers to scale up production to mass production. With one of our partners now producing well over a million parts per year, it is fantastic to see all this effort pay off.”
As we enter 2024, Lithoz will focus on supporting the growth of ceramic 3D printing by increasing the number and strength of service companies around the world.
