Inkbit is an American company dealing in the production of industrial 3D printers – Inkbit Vista, intended for mass final production of polymer parts. Utilizing an innovative technology called Vision-Controlled Jetting (VCJ), Inkbit provides high resolution 3D printing, enabling users to produce parts with high dimensional accuracy and precision in very large quantities. In November 2022, the Vista additive manufacturing system will make its debut at Formnext, which will also be the company’s first product presentation in Europe.
Utilizing VCJ technology, Inkbit Vista ensures part repeatability and accuracy to the original CAD design using closed-loop feedback control throughout the entire 3D print. This contactless process enables Inkbit to develop materials with superior durability and performance over time.
Additionally, Inkbit has developed a scalable, low-cost support removal process based on the use of a wax support material. The process can be easily automated in high production environments and allows easy recycling of the support material, contributing to a low cost per part while allowing full geometric freedom.
Visitors to Formnext can also see the innovative range of materials that Inkbit has adapted to a wide variety of industry needs, from hard and chemically resistant epoxies to soft elastomers.
