FUJIFILM reseller of Ultimaker 3D printers in Australia

Ultimaker announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia. Under the agreement, FUJIFILM is to provide 3D printers of the Dutch manufacturer in the education sector – with a particular emphasis on universities. The aim of the cooperation is to educate students and students of technical schools in the field of professional application of 3D printing and prepare them for work in industrial companies as specialists in the field of additive technologies.

Companies use 3D printing technology not only for prototyping or designing new products, but also for low-volume production of finished parts used in utility applications. Additive technologies are used in many industries, such as aviation, automotive, industrial production and medicine. As 3D printing has been recognized as an equivalent manufacturing technology to other manufacturing methods, the demand for curricula in the area of additive manufacturing has also increased.

Ultimaker provides an excellent platform for developing competences in 3D printing. Combining high work efficiency, wireless connectivity and cloud computing, the Ultimaker S5 Pro 3D printer offers students an affordable and safe work environment. Accessories like Air Manager provide closed, reverse airflow for the 3D printer, filtering up to 95% of all ultrafine particles (UFP) emitted during 3D printing. With an enclosed working chamber and spools of material stored inside a dedicated feeding station, users can use a complementary and highly efficient system for additive manufacturing.

This is how Tony O’Connor, Sales Director, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia comments:

We are extremely excited to partner with Ultimaker as it allows us to broaden our technology offering to our existing education customers by offering a complementary solution that meets the needs of students and students, and supports the 3D curriculum for faculty and teachers. Thanks to our knowledge and experience in the field of education, adding an Ultimaker will help teachers educate future STEAM specialists. Ultimately, partnerships help us deliver on our company values and customer promises of both innovation and exceptional value
