EOS has launched a new contract manufacturing network connecting end customers with manufacturing partners operating in the 3D printing sector, enabling them to create high-quality parts quickly and reliably. Initially, the network will be established in the EMEA region with seven partners: FKM in Germany, Erpro and Volum-E in France, Pankl in Austria, Materialize in Belgium, Oerlikon in Switzerland and Germany (the company also operates in Asia and the USA) and Hasenauer & Hesser also in Germany. Ultimately, it will be expanded worldwide and more partners will join in the coming months.

The new contract manufacturing network builds on EOS offers in existing partner networks. Customers looking for a trusted partner for additive manufacturing to produce their parts, rather than in-house manufacturing, can turn to the network for support, from rapid prototyping to small runs of 1,000 parts.

Markus Glasser, EOS Senior Vice President EMEA, said, “We want our customers to be successful. By outsourcing AM production to a Contract Manufacturing Network partner, small-series customers will receive the same EOS quality and industry expertise that all our customers have become accustomed to. Our network partners are also able to act as pilot users for the development of new technologies in EOS, giving us valuable input and jointly developing innovations that will shape the future of AM.

Companies wishing to become an EOS Partner undergo a thorough and dedicated assessment where they must meet specific criteria, such as the need to serve customers in the EMEA region. Experienced partners must have at least five EOS systems installed from the latest generation of machines that are regularly maintained and inspected. EOS offers all the tools needed to provide remote service as part of a preventive maintenance program, enabling EOS production partners to offer the highest levels of system performance and availability.

In addition, Contract Manufacturer Network partners must process the EOS ecosystem powder to ensure they can meet the same quality standards. The partner must have a proven quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 and meet specific KPIs in areas such as customer satisfaction, scrap rates and on-time delivery.

EOS Contract Manufacturing Network partners will be included in the MakerVerse Partner Center, the EOS brand platform on MakerVerse. As a result, network partners will have the opportunity to expand their reach with potential end customers, while simplifying the ordering process as much as possible. The EOS Contract Manufacturing Network’s collaboration with MakerVerse as an order fulfillment partner enables customers to access all of the manufacturing capabilities of the EOS Contract Manufacturing Network.
