DyeMansion – a German manufacturer of automated machines for post-processing 3D plastic prints, announced the sale of its 1,000th system to ZEISS Vision Care. The thousandth machine is Powerfuse S – an advanced vapor smoothing system for industrial applications. The buyer, ZEISS Vision Care, is a leader in the ophthalmology industry, providing lenses, instruments, applications and platforms to opticians, retailers and optometrists.
Organic prescription and photochromic lenses are developed and manufactured at the company’s facility in Aalen, Germany. This facility also develops production technologies and applications used in the production of prescription drugs at ZEISS around the world.
Felix Ewald, CEO and co-founder of DyeMansion, said: “I am incredibly proud of this milestone and what it represents. DyeMansion technology is at the forefront of shaping the future of manufacturing. We don’t just sell machines; we are paving the way for a new era of manufacturing and the industrialization of additive manufacturing. I would like to sincerely thank our entire team, customers and partners who have trusted our technology over recent years. It has been an incredible journey since we sold our first machine in 2016. Your belief in our innovations has played a key role in achieving this achievement.”
It is also worth mentioning that one of the users of DyeMansion systems is Technology Applied – a Polish manufacturing company based in Białystok, which has been using the German manufacturer’s solutions for several years, and this year expanded the existing installation with further modules for industrial finishing of 3D print surfaces – including the mentioned Powerfuse S system.
