Since January 2013, 3D Printing Center has been co-creating the 3D printing industry. In the area of 3D printing services, we cooperate with Technology Applied – the largest Polish service company that is able to make 3D prints in almost any additive manufacturing technology. The company offers the production of parts in the SLS, SLA, PolyJet, FDM / FFF methods as well as provides comprehensive processing and dyeing of finished parts in any color.
Technology Applied serves international corporations, large and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, smaller companies and start-ups, universities and research institutions. It implements projects for dental and prosthetic laboratories as well as medical entities.
3D printing is a very broad definition for a number of technologies that differ from each other in terms of manufacturing processes, materials used in them and the type of objects that can be made of them. The most popular materials that can be used to print details are:
Technology Applied makes orders using all of the above materials, in the following additive technologies:
3D printing from polyamide powders is a selective laser melting technology (SLS).
SLS technology allows for 3D printing of polyamide (PA12) and elastomers (TPU) materials, it is perfect for low-volume production and creating models with very complex geometry.
By default, details created in this method have a characteristic white color, however, they can be colored in the full range of colors.
Parts made of PA12 polyamides are very durable and resilient. TPU parts are very flexible – possible to 200-250% elongation in tensile and have shock-absorbing properties.
APPLICATIONS:
3D printing with the use of light-curing resins is based on process of photopolymerization of the material with a laser beam (SLA) or spraying of resins and curing them with UV light (PolyJet). Details made with this method are very smooth and accurately reflect the geometry of the 3D printed model. This technique also works well in low-volume production of small and complex objects.
There is a wide range of resins imitating popular plastics (eg polypropylene or rubber), at the same time having increased resistance to abrasion or high temperatures. Resins are perfect for jewelry, and specialized resins with biocompatible properties can be used in implantology or prosthetics.
APPLICATIONS:
The FDM / FFF technology is an industrial solution for a customer who requires durability and repeatability of 3D printed models made of industrial thermoplastic materials. It enables 3D printing of geometrically complex models. The quality of printed objects is influenced by the use of soluble support materials and thermally stable working conditions in an insulated and heated to high temperatures working chamber.
APPLICATIONS:
Metal 3D printing is one of the most desirable and the most difficult to use additive technologies. It consists in evenly spreading successive layers of powdered metal alloys and their selective melting with a laser beam. Metal 3D printers are industrial-class machines that use, among others gaseous protective atmospheres.
