A record mid-year of Zortrax

In the first mid-year of 2016 Zortrax achieved a record income of 25,5 mln PLN  and 7,5 mln PLN profit. In case of the first position, the company noted a 42%-increase (from 18 PLN in 2015) and in the second one of 114% (from 3,5 mln PLN!). It’s a fantastic result, considering that a reveal of Zortrax Inventure on the market was postponed and the sale was generated only by selling of M200 and dedicated materials.

On the one hand, in the first mid-year of 2016 they won an important strategic investor – Dariusz Miłek – one of the richest people in Poland and the owner of CCC – a shoe brand, on the other hand – problems with long-awaited Zortrax Inventure and scandal about unfulfilled transaction for delivery of 5000 3D printers for DELL in 2014. This time was a real roller-coaster for the company, but considering the financial situation of Zortrax, it is to say, that they are on the top.

According to the press release, in the first mid-year Zortrax achieved a big increase because of the sales of the filaments, particularly for the American market, which is a priority of the company in the next quarter. The sales grew to 116% in comparison to the first mid-year of 2015. On the other markets Zortrax increases sales of materials for 3D printing, what caused with increase of 97% in comparison to the last year.

Zortrax is going to transfer its R&D department from Poland to Asia and is focused on promotion of the next 3D printer – Zortrax M300, which debuted on the Additive Manufacturing in Amsterdam. It was told, that it will be available in the 4th quarter of 2016, but it  thanks to recent subsidy, it will happen in September.

Unfortunately, it is still not known, when Zortrax Inventure will be brought out on the market.
