The cloud-based 3DPrinterOS platform for remote management and design of 3D printers has launched support for Formlabs devices. Using the platform, you can now manage the work of the Form 2, Form 3+, Form 3L, Form 3B, Form 3BL and Fuse 1 models.

Formlabs – PreForm software is available with full functionality of preparing 3D models for 3D printing in the cloud. The solution was implemented in response to numerous requests from users of these 3D printers, who often use several or a dozen devices at the same time.

For over five years, Formlabs 3D printers have been the number one desired by 3DPrinterOS users. We are extremely excited and proud to finally be able to offer one-click social 3D printing, available for Formlabs 3D printers directly from your web browser, without downloading any additional software. Now all you have to do is send the part and it will be immediately ready for 3D printing in the cloud or on your private servers. ” – said John Dogru, founder of 3DPrinterOS.

Setting up 3DPrinterOS for Formlabs 3D printers is quick and simple and consists of two steps: the user must first connect the 3D printers to the 3DPrinterOS client’s web interface and then start cutting the 3D models into layers. It is an absolute condition that Formlabs 3D printers have the latest firmware updates.

3DPrinetrOS was created in 2015. Since then, the platform has gained the support of Silicon Valley, and its services are used by the best universities such as Harvard, Duka and Yale, as well as industrial giants, including Kodak and Bosch. The platform provides the ability to design models, edit and prepare objects for 3D printing and manage 3D printers. It significantly improves work at all its stages, facilitating, among other things, communication and transfer of files between design offices and 3D printing houses. It even offers a native CAD program to integrate models with Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, Onshape and Siemens design tools, solving the existing problem of different interpretation of models in various CAD applications.
