3DGence presented the latest installment of his control software for 3D printers – SLICER 4.0, which introduces, among others support for a wide range of consumables, dedicated 3D printing profiles or their automatic updates. The program is compatible with 3DGence devices – INDUSTRY F340, ONE and DOUBLE P255.
The new software gives a wide selection of predefined material profiles that are automatically updated, quick access to selected print settings and an intuitive interface of advanced settings. It allows basic modification of models (rotation, scaling, division, etc.), and change of all advanced 3D printing options. Users can create their own profile according to the requirements of their project.
Devices such as INDUSTRY F340 or DOUBLE P255 work with most filaments available on the market. In the database of materials certified by the manufacturer you can find filaments of such suppliers as (including Arkema, Spectrum, Fiberlogy or Polymaker). Materials compatible with 3D printers can be printed with washed support structures such as BVOH or ESM-10 and broken ones such as HIPS-X or ABS.
3DGence SLICER 4.0 is based on the Cura engine, so we have the vast majority of advanced options – we can freely set detailed parameters regarding surface quality, filling, supports, 3D printing speed, wall thickness, etc. Of course, these are options called on demand – by default, the user has only the most important and most commonly used parameters (percentage of model filling, filling pattern, thickness of side, bottom and top walls, adhesion mode and angle at which supports are generated).
The program is available for free download here. After announcing the premieres of new products and solutions that will take place in less than three weeks, the program will be updated to a newer version, which will include all the new products presented.
