27.08.2023 – “Accelerating development and reducing costs thanks to xMOLD” webinar hosted by Nexa3D

This Thursday – July 27, 2023, there will be a free Nexa3D webinar dedicated to the practical use of Freeform Injection Molding (FIM) – a hybrid use of digital tools that combines the freedom of design in 3D printing with the possibilities offered by injection molding. FIM software is a patented digital tooling process designed to combine 3D printing and injection molding technologies for fast and more efficient production. Thanks to it, companies can quickly prototype parts using materials that will be used in the final product. 3D Phoenix – the exclusive distributor of Nexa3D in Poland invites you to the webinar.

The webinar will cover topics such as: an introduction to Freeform Injection Molding, design validation in production materials, using traditional injection molding tools and materials to accelerate product development, how FIM is currently being used to accelerate the design and testing of fully functional prototypes and using FIM to produce and mass personalize products.

Freeform Injection Molding software was created by AddiFab, which was acquired by Nexa in May this year. The companies have been working together since 2021 in North America and Europe. Thanks to the partnership announced in March 2022, Freeform Injection Molding technology has been supported by NXE 400 Pro 3D printers. As a result, dozens of customers have switched from traditional tools to digital tools. Among them were e.g. Wilson Sporting Goods, which used the process to develop new iterations of baseball bats, and PepsiCo, which used Nexa3D technology and AddiFab to produce molds for its beverage bottles.
