In March 2020, Sinterit opened its new production plant in Krakow, his home city. The new complex is equipped with their 3D printers and peripherals, thanks to which the company can increase its production capacity up to three times.

Sinterit has now released an update for its software that allows their 3D printers to work according to the principles of Industry 4.0. According to Grzegorz Głowa, responsible for the R&D department at Sinterit, this is the result of numerous inquiries from clients interested in production automation.

Since always, the advantage of the Krakow manufacturer’s devices was proprietary software – Sinterit Studio. This software played the role of not only a slicer, but also a comprehensive tool for managing the entire 3D printing process. The latest update has added, among others “print monitor online” function that allows you to monitor the 3D printing process in real time. What’s more, the user interface is now more intuitive and easier to use, with every function easily accessible.

The goal of implementing Industry 4.0 solutions is to automate and integrate production processes to make them easier to manage. For 3D printing farms, it is important that the devices generate information about the start and status of the production process. Now, after updating the software, Lisa and Lisa PRO provide such information.

The software also includes peripheral devices that were included in the offer a few months ago.

The new Sinterit production center is located far from the city center, in a local industrial zone. The location is not accidental – thanks to the close proximity to the Krakow logistics center, shipping products and organizing customer training will be much easier.
