The next edition of the Open Days of the Scientific Station of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Vienna will be held on September 15-16, 2023. Its main topic will be ecology and sustainable development, including lectures and presentations of 3D printers using recycled materials and biodegradable and compostable bioplastics. One of the speakers will be the Polish company GREENFILL3D, specializing in the production of applications based on materials doped with natural raw materials such as wheat bran, algae, hemp or linen.
During the event, the topics of a responsible approach to the natural environment and broadly understood sustainable development will be discussed. In the area of 3D printing, the following will be presented, among others: Recreator MK5 device, enabling the processing of plastic PET bottles into filament used in FDM / FFF 3D printers. The latest 3D printer from PRUSA Research will also be presented – Prusa MK4, which had its official premiere this year.
GREENFILL3D will present a portfolio of ecological biofilaments and the applications it performs using them. These will include, among others: materials doped with wheat bran, algae, hemp, distillery grains or wood. Applications made of thermoplastic starch will be presented – fully compostable and water-soluble materials. The company will also present an offer of lighting accessories and expandable lamps for the COLORISED brand.
The open days of the PAN Scientific Station in Vienna are an excellent opportunity to learn more about ecology and sustainable development.
