The cooperation was announced during the Military Additive Manufacturing (MilAM) and Technology Showcase trade fairs. The cooperation aims to improve strategic readiness and operational capabilities in the military sector.
1000 Kelvin, specializing in the development of 3D printing software, is collaborating with Fieldmade, which deals with mobile production in difficult conditions, to expand the use of 3D printing on the front lines. The aim of the cooperation is to increase strategic and operational readiness in the military sector. By joining forces, it will be possible to print parts in the field. AMAIZE’s 1000 Kelvin platform, which uses AI to optimize 3D printing processes, will work with Fieldmade’s NOMAD series mobile 3D printing modules. This cooperation aims to ensure the effective implementation of 3D printing technology in difficult conditions, which can save time and costs, and even save lives in critical military situations.
Fieldmade has a long history of working with the Norwegian Armed Forces and other defense industry entities, providing confidence that both companies can increase the efficiency of implementing additive manufacturing in challenging environments.
